Bio: Mackenzie Sokolowski has been involved in cheerleading for more than 13 years as both a competitive athlete and coach, with experience in all-
star and scholastic cheerleading programs. As a coach and recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Neuroscience, she combines practical coaching experience with an evidence-based understanding of human movement, athlete development, injury prevention, and performance. In addition to her involvement in cheerleading, Mackenzie has developed governance and leadership experience through executive roles with the Golden Key Honours Society and will begin pursuing a Master's degree in Neuroscience this fall. She is passionate about the continued growth, safety, and long-
term success of cheerleading in Alberta and believes her collaborative leadership, academic expertise, and commitment to athlete and coach development will allow her to make a meaningful contribution to the Alberta Cheerleading Association Board of Directors.
