Bio: Benjamin Cox brings a unique blend of professional leadership and sport administration experience to the Alberta Cheerleading
Association. A registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with more than 15 years of experience in engineering, project management,
risk management, and organizational leadership, he has worked on projects across Canada and internationally before becoming the
owner and operator of Renegade Cheer and Renegade Athletics Inc. Through his leadership of a successful all-star cheer program, Ben
has developed firsthand insight into the opportunities and challenges facing athletes, families, coaches, clubs, and sport
organizations. He is passionate about supporting the continued growth of cheerleading in Alberta and believes his expertise in
strategic planning, governance, financial oversight, and organizational sustainability will enable him to make a meaningful
contribution to the ACA Board of Directors.
